Mini Cup/Specs Adaptive Switch Mounting Plate Kit - Components

The Mini Cup/Specs Adaptive Switch Mounting Plate Kit provides all of the parts required to attach a Mini Cup Adaptive Switch or a Specs Adaptive Switch to the Mealtime Partners Flex Arm Mounting Systems.

The first step in installing a Mini Cup or Specs Switch is to attach the Mounting Plate to the ball and socket end of the Flex Arm Mounting System using the 3/4" long screw provided in the kit. A (user provided) slot screwdriver is required. Tighten the screw firmly so that it will not easily be unscrewed.

Next, attach the Mini Cup or Specs Switch to the mounting plate using Velcro pads. Two sets of Velcro pads are provided in the Kit but only one set is required. One pad has hooks on the surface and the other has loops. (The surface with loops is softer to the touch.) Remove the backing from the pad with the loops, center it over the Mounting Plate, and firmly press it onto the Plate. Similarly, attach the second, mating Velcro pad (with hooks), onto the bottom of the selected Adaptive Switch. The switch can then be positioned on the Mounting Plate and will be held by the Velcro pads. The second set of Velcro pads can be used to add another switch, if needed.
